The fierce and competitive semi-final between the number one player in the world, Jannik Sinner, and his worthy opponent, Daniil Medvedev, was unexpectedly interrupted by bad weather conditions in the evening hours on Friday. Fans cannot wait to find out who gets to compete in the Rome final.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>As the skies cleared before the rain began pouring, both tennis players displayed outstanding abilities on the court. Taking advantage of his home turf and the cheering spectators around him, Sinner showcased great skills in the opening game and won the first set with a score of 6-2.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Undeterred by the loss of the first set, Medvedev came prepared for battle and refused to give up. The second set became a test of strategy with both players displaying an extremely high level of professionalism and quality tennis. Medvedev eventually won that set 7-5, thereby gaining all momentum.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>The tension rose even higher in the third set where both athletes pushed to their utmost abilities. Sinner managed to turn the tables around and win four consecutive games, thus earning himself an important lead. Winning the third set would grant him passage to the finals, but just before he managed to win, the skies suddenly poured and play had to be stopped.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<h4 class=\"wp-block-heading\"><strong>Match Status at Suspension:<\/strong><\/h4>\n\n\n\n<ul class=\"wp-block-list\">\n<li>Jannik Sinner leads Daniil Medvedev 6-2, 5-7, 4-2.<\/li>\n<\/ul>\n\n\n\n<hr class=\"wp-block-separator has-alpha-channel-opacity\"\/>\n\n\n\n<p>The winner of the interrupted game will get a chance to compete with Casper Ruud, who is yet awaiting the winner in the championship round.
